Position Overview

eNGINE is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support advanced analytics and enterprise reporting initiatives for a client in the Seven Fields, PA area. This role requires a strong technical foundation across the full data lifecycle—from backend data structuring to semantic modeling and front-end visualization. The ideal candidate will ensure consistency, accuracy, and performance across all reporting solutions while delivering scalable and impactful business intelligence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust Power BI solutions leveraging advanced DAX and optimized data models
  • Build and maintain scalable semantic models to ensure consistent business metrics across reporting platforms
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into intuitive dashboards and reports
  • Optimize performance of Power BI datasets, reports, and queries for enterprise-scale usage
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to validate and structure underlying data sources
  • Develop and enforce data governance standards to maintain data integrity and accuracy
  • Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data from various relational data sources
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies across reporting layers


Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI development, including advanced DAX calculations
  • Proven experience designing and optimizing data models for performance and scalability
  • Deep understanding of the data lifecycle, including data, semantic, and visualization layers
  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance
  • Experience ensuring consistency and integrity of business metrics across reporting platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail


Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in enterprise reporting environments with large datasets
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
  • Exposure to data governance and data quality best practices
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams
