Job Description

Advanced Energy United (United) is seeking a Business Intelligence intern to support its Member Engagement and Sales teams as part of our Summer 2024 program. The intern will gain direct experience in data analysis and reporting as part of a project to transition Uniteds sales and membership relationship management system.

The intern will perform data entry and analysis. Responsibilities will include organizing accurate, up-to-date, and usable information to help our team develop strategies to address the organizations current and future needs. Leveraging membership and sales data within our customer relationship management and marketing platforms, the intern will help support the organizations growth and gain practical experience in data organization and member engagement.

United is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and our internship program will be D.C. based, with interns expected to work a hybrid schedule. As such, preference will be given to students applying from the DMV area. A final project will be due from each intern and presented to the organization. Students applying must be in the sophomore year or above.

Required Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity and comfortability with working with databases and ability to apply relevant skills to Customer Relationship Management Software or Association Management Systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Interest in marketing, communications, and/or sales fields
  • Data entry and analysis experience
  • Experience with AMS/CRM software and/or HubSpot
