As an integral member of our Business Litigation team, you will gain immediate hands-on experience handling a wide variety of business litigation matters involving breach of contract, partnership/dissolution, real estate, intellectual property (copyright and trademark) disputes and more! From inception to resolution, you will have the opportunity to handle every aspect of your cases including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, arguing motions in court, attending mediations, and trial. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth, as you will collaborate closely with experienced partners and team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ year of experience as an attorney handling business, real estate, and/or intellectual property litigation matters.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing, researching and drafting briefs, memoranda, and pleadings addressing sophisticated legal issues, as well as managing discovery.
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interface confidently with sophisticated clients, as well as opposing counsel
  • Experience preparing for, taking, and defending depositions; as well as drafting and arguing motions is preferred.
  • Ability and/or desire to manage a caseload independently, while also working collaboratively with team members
  • Client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active bar license with the State Bar of California
