Business Process Re-Engineering Analyst Location : Fremont, CA (Onsite/Flex) Duration : 4-Month W2 Contract (Special Project) Pay Rate : Up to $62.14/hour Position Summary We are seeking a Business Process Re-Engineering Analyst to support engineering operations by improving internal tools, workflows, and analytical processes. This role will focus on enhancing engineering productivity, standardizing work-tracking methods, refining cost models, and implementing scalable process improvements. The ideal candidate is analytical, self-driven, and comfortable working with incomplete information to develop practical solutions. Key Responsibilities Improve and standardize engineering tools, workflows, and operational processes to increase efficiency. Expand and enhance cost models for complex hardware or manufacturing operations. Evaluate existing engineering work-tracking methods and implement scalable project management solutions. Support development and refinement of Python-based analytical tools and cost models. Integrate data from multiple sources to improve reporting and decision-making. Research unfamiliar technical topics and develop practical recommendations with minimal supervision. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to improve productivity initiatives. Develop reports, dashboards, documentation, and process improvements using analytical tools. Support automation initiatives that streamline engineering workflows and business processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations, Manufacturing, Analytics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Comfortable researching complex topics and developing practical solutions in ambiguous environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or technical organizations. Experience improving internal business processes, engineering workflows, or operational tools. Experience developing or refining manufacturing or hardware cost models. Familiarity with project management tools such as Planview, Smartsheet, Quickbase, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms. Experience using Python, GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted development tools, or automation technologies. Knowledge of manufacturing cost analysis, labor costing, yield, capital allocation, and process optimization.
