Department Randy Owens Center for the Performing Arts Anticipated Start Date April 20, 2026 Annual Salary $40,000.00 Work Hours 8:00 am - 4:30 pm - Mon - Fri Job Summary This position manages day-to-day business and finance activities to ensure the department operates efficiently and meets the expectations and needs of both customers and staff. Assists with the administrative aspects and has operational control of a range of business transactions and projects. May work on assignments related to department initiatives, internal operating procedures, business processes, and policies. The position works collaboratively with campus partners to support the institution and department. Job Duties and Responsibilities Perform and monitor the day-to-day financial and business operations of the department. Assist in the preparation of budgetary estimates by obtaining relevant financial and other data to support budget reporting. Process contracts, purchase requisitions, and purchase order processes. Coordinates arrangements for local travel, sources information on costs, develops cost proposals and justifications, plans the itinerary, and makes ground transport arrangements, as necessary. Manage calendars and scheduling for department activities. Provide office support for cross-institutional and cross-departmental initiatives. Assist with program activities, accreditation preparation, and related processes. Maintain clear and accurate operations documents/procedures for reference. Serve as the primary business point of contact for internal and external constituencies. Ensure confidentiality in all work activities. Utilize technology and various computer programs, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Performs additional responsibilities as assigned to support the university mission. Required Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in a related field of study with 4 years’ related experience in the business area. 4-7 years’ experience related to duties and responsibilities specified. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of business ERP systems Five or more years of experience performing business or accounting transactions.
