Business Operations Manager Location: Lakewood, CA, US Experience: Senior Level Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year Job Description Provide strategic and operational support to the COO, including preparing agendas, briefing materials, tracking decisions, and managing follow-up actions. Coordinate cross‑functional projects and special initiatives, monitor progress, identify risks, and elevate issues as needed. Exercise independent judgment to prioritize work and support executive objectives in a fast‑paced environment. Manage and enhance the Office of the COO’s operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, action items, reporting, and cross‑department coordination. Develop and improve workflows, operating procedures, governance processes, and document‑management systems. Utilize technology, automation, AI tools, and templates to increase efficiency while maintaining confidentiality and compliance. Prepare executive communications, reports, presentations, and decision‑support materials for senior leadership and board‑level audiences. Conduct research, analysis, and information synthesis to support strategic initiatives, executive briefings, and special projects. Coordinate meeting materials, logistics, and follow‑up actions for internal and external engagements. Serve as a professional liaison between the COO, executives, departments, and external stakeholders. Coordinate executive support activities, including travel arrangements, expense reporting, and special projects as needed. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Notary Commission preferred or ability to obtain as needed. Preferred candidate will have 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in executive support, chief of staff support, office operations, program management, consulting, communications, analysis, or a comparable executive office environment.
