RSM is looking for a Manager to join our Financial Consulting (FC) practice to work closely with our Fund Services+ leadership and operational teams and provide critical business partnering, performance reporting, and project management. The role will be both internal based and client facing.

Responsibilities:

  • Fund Services+ BPP&P is responsible for planning, coordinating, and execution of various tasks relating to both internal directive and client servicing tasks, including:
  • Monitor and report on internal KPIs, including monthly budget/actual forecasting, technology investments, utilization, etc.
  • Assist with planning and project managing technology onboardings and integrations for both internal projects and clients.
  • Assist with critical project management related to client onboarding(s) for FS+.
  • Coordination across practice lines where we offer a bundle of services (i.e. ensuring we are well aligned across business lines for client onboarding, project planning, meeting cadence, invoicing/billing, etc.)
  • Assist with the client pursuit process, including management of the administrative logistics of the proposal and client acceptance process (i.e. ensure compliance with firms policies)
  • Gain an understanding of the operational needs of clients (demand) and coordinate according with respective Engagement and RLs.
  • Understand RSM's service lines and work as a team to provide solutions for applicable needs of your clients.
  • Collaborate directly with firm specialists/subject matter experts to address client needs and/or provide assistance necessary.
  • Assist engagement leaders in drafting client proposals
  • Assist with drafting contracts (i.e. engagement letters, statements of work, msa, etc.) in collaboration with the engagement leader
  • Track and provide performance reporting for FS+, including budget vs actuals, cost spend, and various other business needs
  • Meet with solution leaders and assist in documenting annual business plan, including overall plan, action steps, responsible parties, and deliverable timelines.
  • Create and maintain various tracking tool(s) to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely performance reporting.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and assist in hosting ad-hoc and ongoing meetings related to both clients and internal directives. Monitor progress of these respective meetings/discussions and ensure all key information is tracked effectively. Assist with documenting meeting minutes and distributing to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying project risk and challenges and determine the appropriate corrective action to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Create presentations to keep leadership and key stakeholders abreast of current standing.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree
  • 5+ years of current or recent experience in Private Equity, Asset Management, and/or Real Estate companies.
  • Prior experience with project management and/or business partnering and planning
  • Prior experience with performance reporting across functional areas
  • An entrepreneurial and growth mindset
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proven record of problem solving and creating efficient processes .
  • Excellent project management skills. Candidate must demonstrate exceptional organization and ability to manage time, multi-task and meet deadlines, as well as possess strong creative problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Teamwork. Candidate must demonstrate experience in working as a productive member of a team.
  • Outstanding relationship management skills and personal networking skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Six Sigma certification a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Co-pilot a plus
