Additionally, DRS Marlo Coil is strategically positioned for substantial growth in the Industrial and Commercial markets.Job SummaryAs a Business Process Intern for the Program Management organization, you will review existing process documents, help identify obsolete or unclear procedures, map current workflows, draft updates to SOPs and work instructions, and support small pilot rollouts. This role reports to the Program Management Director and is an excellent opportunity to learn process design, stakeholder engagement, and practical change management.Job ResponsibilitiesReview assigned SOPs procedures and work instructions to find gaps, redundant steps, and outdated content.Map current state processes using simple flowcharts and capture exceptions and handoffs.Draft revisions to procedures and maintain version control in the central repository.Run discovery interviews with subject matter experts and collect feedback.Support pilot testing and gather user feedback to refine documentation.Prepare short summaries, change logs, and slide updates for stakeholders.Track progress metrics and deliver a small capstone deliverable by end of internship.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED and completion of 1 semester of college. Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Program Management, Business Administration, Business Operations, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Strong attention to detail, good written communication, and organizational ability.Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Comfortable learning diagramming tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office.Curious, proactive, and able to work with supervision on scoped tasks.Prior coursework or project experience in process mapping or continuous improvement is a plus.
