Job Description
**Hybrid Onsite | 2 weeks per month in Merrimack NH, Jersey City NJ, or Westlake TX**
We are supporting a leading, innovative fintech client in hiring a Business Process Software Engineer who can blend strong software development skills with an exceptional ability to think logically through complex business workflows.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy:
- Breaking down how users move through a system
- Designing the underlying process logic
- Translating that logic into clean, maintainable code
You will be hands-on in building, testing, and supporting the workflows that power a highly dynamic, transaction-heavy platform. This is not a generic full-stack role—this position is deeply rooted in business process flow, logical systems thinking, and implementing those flows in Python and JavaScript.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay: $65 - $75/hr W2
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, deploy, and support workflow logic that drives user interactions on a large-scale platform
- Map out logical user paths, process steps, and system behavior—then implement those flows in code
- Partner closely with product managers and tech leads to understand complex transactions and customer needs
- Design and build automation to ensure data quality, document generation, and signature flows
- Conduct research and experimentation to support future product growth opportunities
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in code quality, testing, stability, and automation
Experience Requirements:
Must Have:
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript
- Proven experience building and supporting web applications in production environments
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving capability
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and convert them into robust code
- Experience with GitHub, CI/CD tools, and automated testing practices
- Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn new technologies and patterns
- Strong sense of ownership with a quality‑first mindset
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of workflow automation or business process modeling
- Experience generating documents or handling electronic signature workflows
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
