Position Description For more information and to apply, visit Purpose The Business Program Specialist supports the organization's business development and lending initiatives by providing technical assistance to businesses, processing and servicing loans, fulfilling administrative contract requirements, and assisting with special projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to develop skills in business support, loan programs, and economic and community development. Reports to: Organizational Development and Program Manager Essential Responsibilities Answer business inquiries and follow up on information requests promptly and accurately Provide technical assistance to businesses in completing loan applications Analyze business plans and financial business information Assist in drafting loan proposals Support loan packaging and closing procedures Help service loans and grants, including collecting compliance documents, tracking reporting requirements, and participating in site visits Conduct periodic audit of project and loan files Monitor program regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance Assist with Loan ReviewCommitteecommunications and meetings Cultivate and maintain relationships with businesses, partners, and organizations to strengthen program outreach and engagement Keys to Success Required Associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, public administration, or a related field Applicants must genuinely enjoy working with numbers, reviewing financial documents, and the analytical tasks involved in credit analysis and loan servicing.
