Farm Credit of the Virginias is seeking to hire a Business Relationship Specialist I in its Leesburg, VA branch or Warrenton, VA branch. From your first day, you will be part of an engaged and customer-focused team! Our Business Relationship Specialist work in partnership with assigned sales staff to provide comprehensive quality support throughout the sales and lending processes.

Responsibilities/Duties:
•    Support respective sales team in areas such as opportunity generation, deal generation, appraisal ordering, and other support functions.
•    Assist with applicant interviews, gathering financial information, and reconciling complete accurate data for credit application.
•    Work with lender to ensure pre and post-closing loan conditions are met.
•    Support sales team in post-close servicing to include collateral inspections, data collection, covenant monitoring, proactive preparation of renewals, and repricing actions.
•    Provides necessary information to AgFirst on FCV Association originated and purchased participations  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

•    High school diploma or equivalent – Associate’s degree in lending,

•    Four years of work experience in lending, finance or related.

•    Demonstrated computer proficiency and familiarity with financial databases and spreadsheet applications

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to employ diplomacy and tact with customers and prospects while articulating the benefits of Farm Credit.

•    Ability to initiate, organize and prioritize work and maintain confidentiality

•    Travel to/from other branch offices, associations, AgFirst or other facilities

•    Self-starter; excellent problem-solving & time management skills

Benefits

Salary Range: $51,300-$73,700 plus incentive opportunities
