This role is worked on‑site from 9am to 5pm, Tuesdays and Saturdays. You'll be joining a high-performing, multi‑skilled team who work closely together to care for Cragside and ensure our visitors have an inspiring experience. Great teamwork underpins everything we do, and your role provides one of the essential foundations that keeps the whole operation running. What you'll be doing You’ll play a central part in the smooth running of daily operations. Your day could include handling a group booking enquiry, coordinating with colleagues over radio to arrange contractor access, and placing orders for uniforms—all within the same hour. As a valued member of the Business Services team, led by our Business Services Lead, you’ll provide comprehensive administrative support across the property. You’ll enjoy the variety that comes with supporting multiple departments, helping Heads of Department and their teams deliver the Trust’s strategy and objectives. You’ll oversee internal and external communications, coordinate property diaries and movements, and use a range of IT systems to produce reports, maintain accurate records, and manage compliance and other processes. The role also involves cash handling and reconciliation. In addition, you will be part of the property’s duty manager rota, and supervise business services volunteers.
