Summary

The Business Support Specialist, Data Entry will play a key role in supporting the operational functions of DSV Road.
This position involves a variety of administrative tasks, including document management, coordination, and communication.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong attention to detail.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining operational documents, files, and records.
  • Prepare and edit documents for drivers
  • Ensure loads are entered accurately into our TMS systems
  • Track and Trace freight movements
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to update load information as necessary
  • Input and maintain accurate data in various databases and systems.
  • Generate and update reports as required
  • Provide support to the operational team as needed.

Educational background / Work experience

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • 1-3 years of clerical, administrative, or Supply Chain experience preferred
  • Data entry experience
  • Working knowledge of general office equipment

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent organization and computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
  • The ability to work to deadlines, frequent changes and new priorities is key to this role.
    As well as possessing good communications skills, and ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft applications.
    PowerPoint and Excel experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to complete complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable with routinely shifting demands
  • High degree of attention to detail

Physical and/or Mental Requirements / Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk or hear.
The employee uses computer and telephone equipment.
The vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision.
