Your Role and Responsibilities The Business Systems Administrator is responsible for the daily operational health and administrative integrity of our Workday ecosystem. This role focuses on ensuring that system configurations, business processes, and data entry remain accurate, efficient, and compliant with global standards. You will exercise sound judgment to resolve moderately complex technical issues within Workday and impacted applications while following standardized procedures for routine maintenance. As a key administrative partner, you will collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to troubleshoot data discrepancies and maintain the "open" and collaborative culture that defines the organization. This position requires a high degree of discretion, as you will regularly handle sensitive associate information in accordance with company policies and global privacy laws. Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree Required Technical And Professional Expertise Module Proficiency: Foundational knowledge of Workday HCM is required. Familiarity with additional modules such as Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, or Payroll is highly preferred. Data Management Tools: Hands‑on experience with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) for mass data uploads and updates. Reporting: Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, including the creation of custom reports, dashboards, and the use of Calculated Fields to extract actionable insights. Testing Protocols: Experience executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing during Workday’s bi-annual feature releases. Ticketing & Project Management: Experience using ServiceNow to track system issues and manage administrative tasks. Collaboration Suite: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) for data visualization and documentation, and Slack for real‑time stakeholder communication. Data Privacy: A solid understanding of global data privacy regulations, including GDPR, and their application within an HRIS environment. Root Cause Analysis: Ability to look beyond a system error to identify underlying data discrepancies or configuration gaps. Process Optimization: A continuous‑improvement mindset—always looking for ways to automate manual administrative tasks or simplify complex workflows. Technical Writing: Skill in creating clear, jargon‑free documentation, job aids, and training materials for end‑users. Autonomy & Initiative: Proactive approach to work with the ability to move projects forward with minimal instruction, while knowing when to elevate issues to senior team members.
