We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to support manufacturing and production operations through strategic purchasing, supplier management, and cost control. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, managing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring on-time delivery to meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials, components, equipment, and supplies for manufacturing
• Manage open purchase orders and delivery schedules using MRP/ERP systems
• Create, release, and maintain accurate POs; follow up on shortages, backorders, and expedites
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, freight terms, and supplier contracts
• Monitor supplier on-time delivery, quality, and performance metrics
• Maintain accurate supplier data, lead times, MOQ, and cost information
• Source and qualify new domestic and global suppliers
• Resolve supplier delivery issues, NCRs, and payment discrepancies
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Production
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 6+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with MRP/ERP systems
• Proven supplier negotiation and cost-reduction experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
