We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization that is actively seeking a Buyer responsible for sourcing materials, supplies, and services to support manufacturing operations. This role will evaluate supplier quotations, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate supplier quotes for materials, services, and equipment
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to delivery, quality, or cost
• Coordinate with production, inventory, and other internal teams to support operational needs
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain purchasing records and analyze market trends related to materials and supply chain
• Support purchasing strategies that ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
