Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility: Establish sources of supply, negotiates price, and delivery date Identify business opportunities and risks through analyzing sales performance, provide analysis to summarize and analyze weekly sales data Run status reports and analysis for adequate levels of material to meet projected production needs. Review all purchase requisitions and order accordingly, ensuring the purchase of the highest quality materials, parts, components, or services at the most cost effective pricing, while meeting delivery requirements. Insert data in the ERP system, suppliers data and other data required by the company Process purchase orders needed for materials to meet production requirements. Communicate with suppliers. Check materials and part shortages and expedite as needed. Coordinate with suppliers for materials ensuring the ability to meet production requirements and quality standards. Assist with sourcing of new suppliers as required. Negotiate best pricing and delivery from vendors while working with vendors on cost saving measures. Work with Plant Manager and leadership to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality, while reducing costs. Work with logistics to ensure the right organization and flow of material in the supply chain Management of relationships with freight forwarders and conducting the related tariff negotiations Organization of express, groupages and full load shipments, by land, sea and air Budget prevision and logistics cost analysis Other duties as required #J-18808-Ljbffr
