Role Overview

Buy merchandise or commodities, for resale to consumers at the wholesale or retail level, or for use in production of finished goods. Analyze past buying and market trends, price, and quality of products to determine value. Select, order, and authorize payment for products according to contractual agreements. May conduct meetings with sales personnel.
