Job Title: Buyer
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities:
- Purchase and negotiate materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
- Evaluate vendor quotes and services to identify the best suppliers.
- Support procurement activities related to software SoWs and licensing POs.
- Develop and track Purchase Orders (POs) for NPI projects.
- Assist with various Supply Chain activities, including PO development and tracking.
Requirements:
- High School diploma required; BS degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Familiar with standard procurement concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to rely on limited experience and judgment to accomplish goals and perform tasks.
- Ability to work under general supervision and report to a supervisor or manager.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills are needed.
Note: This position will focus heavily on supporting software SoWs and licensing POs, in addition to regular Supply Chain activities related to NPI projects.
