You will be right at home at Waupaca Foundry. Responsibilities Create, process, and manage purchase orders. Assess quotations from vendors based on requirements, pricing, performance, and payment terms. Review and approve new materials for the stockroom. Review obsolete or slow moving inventory. Collaborate with suppliers regularly on product improvement or alternative supplies. Communicate with Engineers, Management, and Suppliers. Maintain and track past due purchase orders within SAP to ensure on-time delivery. Manage stockroom operations and central supply personnel engaged in receiving, issuing, and delivering supplies and equipment. Work directly with accounts payable and reconciliation of company credit card. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement function. Organizes, supervises, and directs the work of storeroom. Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures. Designs, implements, manages, and monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements. Preferred Education/Experience Requirements Bachelors degree in business, supply chain or engineering. Two to Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualifications Computer skills, which include all Microsoft programs and knowledge of SAP accounting software. Possess and demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. Flexible work schedule for shift and department mobility. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to work independently to plan and organize daily tasks.
