About the Role

This hybrid Buyer/Planner role supports day-to-day purchasing materials planning, and inventory management. It is a great opportunity for someone early in their supply chain career looking to grow in manufacturing. This role is designed as a development path into a higher supply chain position. Over time, you will gain experience in sourcing, negotiation support, cost analysis, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

  • Issue purchase orders and manage supplier communications
  • Track order status and expedite when needed
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and reorder points
  • Support production scheduling and materials planning
  • Analyze purchasing data and supplier performance
  • Assist with cost savings initiatives and process improvements

Requirements

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant supply chain or purchasing experience
  • Strong Excel and basic Word skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
