PAY RATE: $47.78/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Assemble, disassemble, or modify aerospace vehicle systems and components to correct failures or implement changes.
-
Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul processes.
-
Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
-
Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
-
Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
-
Document procedures, repairs, test results, and inspections for contractual and regulatory compliance.
-
Inspect components and verify repairs meet flight-worthiness standards.
-
Provide training and guidance to less experienced personnel.
-
Work under general supervision and follow established processes.
-
Maintain qualification/certification and pass Ground Operations Personnel (GOP) and air respirator medical physicals.
Requirements:
-
Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance (interim or final post-start). U.S. Citizenship required
-
High School diploma/GED plus 4+ years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (vocational school/Associate + 2 years, or Bachelor's degree).

Minimum 3 years' experience working at heights using fall protection equipment (weight limit 225 lb).
-
3+ years' experience reading, understanding, and interpreting basic engineering drawings and technical specifications.

3+ years' experience identifying hazardous working conditions and ensuring workplace safety.

3+ years' experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with live aircraft operations, including pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, electrical, and propulsion systems.

Minimum 3 years' C-17 platform experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret C-17 blueprints and USAF Technical Orders.

Multi-system operations, maintenance, and repair experience.
-
Ability to work safely within complex schedules and establish procedures for high-quality, productive work.
