Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled C++/MATLAB Developer to join our team at APG, Maryland. The successful candidate will develop and implement algorithms for Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Digital Beam Forming (DBF), and general I/Q processing. These algorithms will be implemented in C++ and MATLAB and integrated into a distributed simulation environment. The role also involves providing expertise in signal and data processing, particularly concerning radar data, writing test procedures for algorithm evaluation and analysis, and managing code quality through version control, automated software builds, and automated unit testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement algorithms for DSP, DBF, and I/Q processing using C++ and MATLAB.
• Integrate developed algorithms into a distributed simulation environment to emulate radar capabilities.
• Provide expertise in processing radar data, ensuring accurate and efficient analysis.
• Develop and execute test procedures to evaluate and analyze algorithm performance.
• Maintain high code quality through version control systems, automated software builds, and automated unit testing.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution with three years of experience.

Experience:

• 1+ year of implementation experience in C++ 11 or C++ 14 and MATLAB.
• Competent understanding of algorithms and software design patterns
• Experience with systems engineering in radar, including requirements derivation and interface development.

Desired Skills:

• Proactive continuous learner, ideally with public repositories on GitLab, GitHub, etc.
• Quality technical writing skills are desired.
• A good understanding of unit testing in C++ is desired.

Clearance:
Must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
