We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated C# Software Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions tailored to the unique needs of the pathology field. Location: 50% remote/ 50% office based.
Part time/flexible working considered.
Experience: 5 years +
Salary: Up to 35-60,000k pro rata (dependant on relevant experience and skills)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and specifications for pathology software solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C# code that meets industry standards and best practices.
- Create intuitive user interfaces and experiences, ensuring optimal usability for healthcare professionals.
- Implement and optimize algorithms for image processing, data analysis, and pathology workflow automation.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to conduct thorough testing and ensure software reliability and performance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior developers to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in C# development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Previous experience in healthcare or pathology software development is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using .NET framework and related technologies.
- Familiarity with database design and SQL, particularly in the context of medical data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in optimizing software for performance and scalability.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with image processing, computer vision, or machine learning in a healthcare context is a plus.
