JOB TITLE: C-17 Systems Technician - Defense
LOCATION: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ
PAY RATE: $41.91/hour

Summary:

• Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify aerospace systems and components to correct failures or implement changes

• Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul activities

• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment

• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components

• Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components

• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness compliance

• Document maintenance actions, repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection outcomes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance

• Support and oversee training requirements

• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED AND 4+ years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school, Associate degree + 2 years of related work experience, Bachelor's degree, etc.)

• Applicable and appropriate educational and/or certification credentials from an accredited institution are required.

• Strong eagerness to learn

• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience

• Ability to prioritize and complete all required training and qualification requirements in a timely manner to meet contractual, regulatory, and operational expectations

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
