JOB TITLE: C 17 Systems Technician - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ
PAY RATE: $41.91/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Assemble, disassemble, modify, and overhaul aerospace vehicle systems

• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment

• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and repair faults

• Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components

• Inspect components and verify repairs meet flight worthiness requirements

• Document procedures and processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (repairs, inspections, modifications, and test results)

• Support and oversee training activities as required

Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance Required to Start

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Typically 4+ years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school, Associate degree + 2 years, Bachelor s degree, etc.)

• Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience required

• Strong eagerness to learn and adapt

• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience

• Ability to prioritize and complete required training and qualification requirements in alignment with contractual, regulatory, and operational standards

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
