About the Role

We are seeking individuals who like working with their hands, are detail oriented, and enjoy being a part of a team. In this role, you will load our beautiful plants onto racks so they may be shipped to our customers throughout the country.

Work Shift is as follows, however start time may be subject to change based on the business need, and hours worked on previous day: Peak season- Monday to Wednesday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Thursday, 11:00 am - 7:30 pm, and Friday / Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Overtime will be available based on work load for the day and the business need.

Compensation: $16.50 hourly wage

What You'll Do

You'll be involved in various duties on the loading team that may include:
  • Building racks that are used in our shipping process.
  • Locating the proper plants on the trailers and placing them directly onto the shipping racks and/or trucks.
  • Unloading returned plants as necessary.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area on the dock.
  • Assisting other departments as needed.
Who You Are
  • Ideally, you'll have experience working in agriculture.
  • You are open to feedback.
  • You enjoy working in a team environment and being supportive of co-workers.
  • You are able to work in inclement weather conditions, i.e. hot, cold, and rainy.
  • Ideally, you'll have basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • You are open to working extended hours
  • You are open to working a flexible work schedule based on the business need.
  • You are able to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly or 50+ pounds on occasion. You have the full range of mobility in your upper and lower body, can reach overhead and work in various positions including stooping, standing walking, bending over, and squatting; can lift, pull, and push materials, use hands and fingers to feel, handle plants or operate objects, tools or controls; are able to use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus, all with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Experience driving a tractor or forklift is a plus but not required.
