Summary:

• Perform a variety of assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

• Work from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts and utilize hand/power tools, jigs, and saws.

• Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.

• Perform quality inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.

• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies as per specifications and simulated conditions.

Required Skills:

• Experience with electronic and mechanical assembly operations.

• Ability to interpret diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, jigs, and saws.

• Familiarity with continuity checks and quality inspection procedures.

• Ability to work with prototypes and perform rework and modifications as needed.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with quality inspections in a production environment.

• Ability to work with experimental or prototype assemblies.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
