JOB TITLE: Cable Inspector - Technical/Professional

Summary:

• Perform visual inspections on in-process and completed cable assemblies using predetermined methods and specifications.

• Use measuring tools (micrometers, scales, dial indicators, etc.) to assess quality and ensure compliance.

• Accept, reject, or rework defective units per IPC-A-620 and other requirements.

• Review blueprints, diagrams, checklists, and customer specifications to verify accuracy.

• Monitor and verify quality through statistical process control or other procedures.

• Assist in assembly tasks related to inspection as needed.

• Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve quality issues.

• Interpret technical documents including drawings, parts lists, IPC manuals, and work instructions.

• Proficient with computers and modern applications for documentation and reporting.

• Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required Skills (2-4 Years Required):

• Cable Harness Inspection (IPC-WHMA-A-620)

• Visual Inspection & Measuring Techniques

• Soldering & Documentation Skills

• Ability to Read Engineering Drawings
