Itoh Denki USA Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and creative CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing detailed fabrication drawings from 3D models for the conveyor industry. The ideal candidate is passionate about precision, possesses strong technical knowledge, and thrives in collaborative settings.This position is a fully in-person role at our Wilkes-Barre, PA office. Applicants must be located within commutable distance (60 mile radius) of Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Itoh Denki USA will not cover relocation costs. Pay range is $24.00 - $26.00/hour.ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed fabrication drawings from 3D models for the conveyor industryFunction as a primary technical resource for all perforated conveyor pattern layoutsAid in the research and development of new product drawings and layoutsMaintain files of all drawings created and approvedExperienceAn Associate's Degree within Design/Drafting or a related field, or considerable prior transferable experiencePrefer 5+ years in design using AutoCAD, Fusion 360 or similar softwarePrefer 3+ years in an industrial environmentAbility to read part fabrication drawingsStrong computer skills, including standard Microsoft applications and CAD softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to contribute individually and work well in a team environmentOpen minded, forward thinking, and results orientedWorking knowledge of standard sheet metal applications and tolerancesWorking knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing equipmentWorking knowledge of sheet metal materials and propertiesAbility to read & write in EnglishJoin us if you’re eager to bring your CAD expertise into a vibrant environment where your skills directly impact the success of innovative conveyor industry projects.
