The role
The CAD Designer-Drafter is responsible for generating project designs and detailed drawings utilizing Autodesk Inventor 3D software.

This is an on-site position located at our facility in Batavia, Ohio.
You will
- Create drawings and models in sufficient detail to facilitate manufacturing of units, based on input from Engineers
- Develop custom designs HVAC, military, and power plant projects
- Troubleshoot design issues with manufacturing and understand internal shop
capabilities
- Generate revisions/change notices
- Thoroughly implement redlines from Engineers
- Examine customer specifications and drawings for design compliance
- Work to stay on track with budgeted hours
- Follow standard practices and file management for CAD software
- Utilize CAD software integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Were looking for
- An Associate Degree in a CAD Design or;
- 2 years experience in a CAD Designer/Drafter role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Web Applications
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings with an understanding of
dimensioning and tolerance
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-through skills
