Zelle HR Solutions is hiring for a a multi-discipline architectural/engineering firm, located in Columbus, NE. We have an immediate opening for an Architectural CAD Technician/ Project Manager to work within the Architectural Department.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare scale drawings of a wide range of building types, including industrial, commercial, and educational building projects, encompassing new construction, additions, and renovations.
  • Manage client contact for specific projects coordinating with chief Architect.
  • Make field measurements and documentation of existing conditions.
  • Create construction drawing sets for various projects.
  • Some research of building codes, building materials, construction costs.
  • Some document reproduction / printing and copying.
  • May include correspondence and collaboration with mechanical, electrical, structural and civil engineering consultants.
  • May include opportunity for construction administration phase site observation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Accredited Associates degree preferred (2 year college or technical school)
  • Two to three years of experience using AutoCAD / Revit software.
  • Three to five years' experience with construction project management. (Being involved in the actual construction work or management process)
  • Familiarity with BIM (Revit) and proficiency in Sketch-up is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) software.
  • Strong to excellent keyboarding skills
  • Work experience in an architectural firm is a plus.
  • Strong oral, written and graphic communication skills.
  • Basic construction knowledge.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Team player.
