They determine client issues, offer solutions, and follow up as necessary. Specialists may handle inbound, outbound, or both types of calls.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Resolve service or billing complaints through exchanges, refunds, and adjustments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and notify them of claim investigation results.
  • Refer unresolved issues to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in documenting customer information accurately.
  • Familiarity with computer applications like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2-4 years of customer service experience required.
