CAPEX Manufacturing EngineerFulltime onsite at Windsor, CT$80,000 - $85,000 per annum plus benefitsWhat You will Do:Experience in Capital Expenditure and Procurement process requiredSupport procuring CAPEX manufacturing equipment for production cold start initiatives and implement on the shop floorSupport managing CAPEX projects and deliverables with high customer visibility.Define machine replacement, upgrade, and investment opportunities.Manage the RFP process.Lead proposal selection process.Manage procurement process.Understanding of the CAPEX process.Competent with a wide range of industrial Equipment.Understanding of manufacturing processes, Heat Exchanger manufacturing preferredUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing and Control plans.Understanding of Manufacturing Engineering core processes (e.g. process planning, inspection planning, tooling, creation of operator instructions).Communicates technical subject matter proficiently, both written and verbally.Provides real-time shop floor support in a fast-paced environment.Work ExperienceBachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering OR in the absence of a degree minimum of 9 years of relevant experienceExperience with CAPEX or Procurement minimum of 3 years.Background in Industrial Machinery Procurement and UtilizationMust be able to communicate effectively with manufacturing engineering, precision inspection personnel, and shop floor employees.A thorough understanding of machining processes.
