A Construction Supervisor/ Construction Coordinator is needed for a leading manufacturing organization in the northern Huntsville, AL area. The Construction Supervisor is responsible to play a crucial part in supporting upcoming equipment installation projects, including planning for the installation of machines and processes for new production lines. Responsibilities extend to overseeing the construction management of contractors to ensure compliance with NFPA standards.
Qualified candidates should bring a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in primary utilities (Electric Power, Air, and Piping) and equipment, along with a minimum of 1 year of expertise in NFPA70 (NEC) code. Additionally, a proven track record of managing Union labor for at least 3 years is required. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management skills, including effective communication with vendors, engineers, management, customers, and contractors, are essential. This is a contract role slated to last at least 12 months, and our client is only seeking local talent at this time.
