Capital Procurement Specialist page is loaded## Capital Procurement Specialistlocations: Bessemer City, NCtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: 2026-000261# What You'll Be Doing**Job Summary:** Generally responsible for developing bid packages, submitting Request for Quote (RFQ), evaluating commercial proposals, and awarding purchase orders. Responsibilities could also include expediting of vendor data and equipment in support of various projects. This work will be performed under general supervision.**Key Responsibilities and Duties:*** Consults with contracted engineering firm on vendor selection, terms and order of RFQs.* Facilitates contracts including confidentiality agreements, master service agreements, purchase orders and scope of work.* Coordinates with legal department for favorable contracts and terms.* Develops risk management assessments to minimize outages during construction.* Executes contractor safety evaluations and Avetta vetting to insure safe vendor practices.* Performs daily tasks including issuing Purchase Order Requisitions, Purchase Orders and Service Entries.* Works with accounting and engineering to maintain budget parameters.# Ideal Background**Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
