Location: Live within 30 min of downtown FTW

Hours: Full time, 40 hr Day Shift

Salary: $37 - $60/hr DOE

What You Need

• Associate Degree in Applied Science & completion of an accredited program in radiologic or cardiovascular technology or high school diploma with two years work experience in invasive cardiology

• One year vascular or cardiac angiography experience preferred

• Two years Cath Lab experience strongly preferred

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire required and

• GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT only upon hire preferred or RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program) upon hire required and

• LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist if RCIS only upon hire preferred or RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) only) upon hire required

• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support required and ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire
  

What You Will Do

• Assess patient's emotional, physical, developmental & cognitive condition & explains procedure prior to exam

• Prepare room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies)

• Check physician orders & exam requisitions using time-out procedures

• Handle patients with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes or other devices & monitor patient during imaging

• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency drugs & equipment

• Provide assistance to the provider while administering contrast media

• Correctly send, transfer, print images to PACS

• Operate, cares for and maintain equipment

• Troubleshoot and properly document equipment malfunction

• Demonstrate knowledge of quality control & regulatory standards
