Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) Cath Lab TechnologistSchedule - Shift: 5x8 days, 06:4515:15, MondayFriday; occasional late days (typically 45/month); rare after 17:00; call: one day per week and every 5th weekendRequirements - Minimum 2 years clinical experience; required certifications: ACLS, BLS; license: NC or compact license pending acceptable for submittal; preferred: experience with TAVR/TAVI, rotablation, Impella insertion, vascular closure devices, advanced vascular interventions; EMR: EpicRoles & Responsibilities - Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions; monitor hemodynamics, including the management of Swan-Ganz/PA lines; assist with IABP and Impella management, including sheath removal and monitoring; provide procedural sedation and monitor patients during procedures, administering emergency medications and vasopressors as needed; interpret 12-lead EKGs and manage dysrhythmias; administer blood products and IV infusions; initiate IVs as requiredCompliance / Notes - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); required to complete pre-start modules (acute ~810 hrs.) before start; candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing; all required testing must be completed within 48 hours
