We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Cath/IR Department, supporting a wide range of diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with physicians to deliver exceptional patient care, ensure imaging excellence, and maintain a safe, aseptic environment during critical cardiovascular procedures. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced clinical setting, values technical precision, and is committed to supporting patients throughout their care journey. On‑call availability is required, offering additional opportunities for hands‑on experience and professional growth. Key Responsibilities Assist in performing a variety of technical procedures, including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures and open surgical procedures under the direct supervision of a physician. Participate in all daily duties necessary to support high-quality patient care and imaging within the Cath/IR Department. Obtain optimal radiographs and assist the physician in maintaining an aseptic environment. Monitor patients and demonstrate knowledge of appropriate responses to changes in patient condition. Maintain in-depth knowledge of complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular equipment and supplies, and assist with their use as needed. Be available for on‑call shifts as required. Required Qualifications Coursework/Training: Graduate of a two‑year invasive cardiovascular program, or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program. Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist – or – Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification. Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT) – or – National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCIS). Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. Upon hire: National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association. 1 year of Cath lab experience. 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience.
