Job Title: Care Assistant (Domiciliary Care) Employer: House of Care Services Location: Malvern WR14 (in-person role) Job Type: Full-Time Contract Type: Permanent Closing Date: Not specified (apply promptly) About House of Care Services House of Care Services is dedicated to supporting elderly clients with dignity and respect, enabling them to remain in their own homes. The organisation provides outstanding care and support at every level, with opportunities for staff to grow and progress through training and qualifications. Job Summary Care Assistants will visit clients in their homes to provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living tasks. The role requires compassion, reliability, and a commitment to supporting wellbeing and independence. Key Responsibilities Assist with personal care and hygiene needs Provide food and drink support Carry out manual handling and palliative care duties Support with light domestic tasks Administer medication as required Offer companionship and emotional support Run errands such as shopping or collecting prescriptions Candidate Requirements Full UK driving licence and access to own car (required) Care Certificate (preferred; training provided if not held) GCSE or equivalent (preferred) Previous support worker experience (preferred, minimum 1 year) Must have UK work authorisation (sponsorship/visa switch not available) Willingness to travel (50% required) Paid mileage (25p per mile between calls) Company pension scheme Sick pay entitlement Employee discount and referral programme (£50 bonus for referrals) Free Blue Light Card (national discounts) Uniform and PPE provided Enhanced bank holiday pay rates 24/7 carer support line and dedicated Care Manager feedback Carpool support for emergencies Full training and support to complete Care Certificate and NVQs Prepare your CV highlighting care experience and driving licence details.
