As the Career Services Coordinator , you’ll be at the heart of empowering students to succeed beyond the classroom. In this dynamic role, you’ll design and deliver innovative career development programs, connect students with internships and job opportunities, and champion experiential learning initiatives. From hosting impactful workshops to managing career platforms and advising students one-on-one, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping their professional journeys. What You’ll Do: Assist students in securing employment, internships, and volunteer opportunities through coaching and resource sharing. Deliver workshops, presentations, and classroom sessions on career readiness and professional development. Manage and maintain the University’s career and experiential learning platform, ensuring accurate postings and engagement data. Distribute and monitor first destination survey results. Oversee campus pantry and career closet programs. Plan and execute career and service-related events. Recruit, train, and supervise student employees supporting career and service programs. Promote career platforms and share information with students, faculty, and campus partners. Serve as a Success Advisor, providing holistic support to students from diverse backgrounds. Provide guidance on résumé writing, job search strategies, interviewing, and graduate school preparation. What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Experience in career development, student affairs, or a related field. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based technology; knowledge of career‑related recruiting platforms preferred.
