Caregiver Apply
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Caregiver to provide hands-on assistance to a client in Haymarket, Virginia. This role involves hands-on mobility support and assisted transfers for a client who requires steady physical support. The caregiver must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety, dignity, and proper body mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with safe transfers to and from the toilet and shower
- Provide physical support during standing, balance, and movement
- Properly use a gait belt during all transfers and mobility assistance
- Ensure the client's safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
- Follow established care routines and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a similar hands-on care role
- Ability to safely assist a taller adult client with transfers and mobility
- Knowledge of safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics
- Physically able to provide standing support and guided movement
- Certification is a plus but not mandatory
Additional Notes
- Hands-on mobility assistance is a core part of this role
- Attention to safety and injury prevention is essential
- Extended or overnight shifts may be available if needed
