As a caregiver at Cheer Home Care, your role is vital in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. You will provide essential personal care assistance, companionship, and support to help our clients maintain their independence and dignity.

On a typical day, your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Providing medication reminders
• Preparing and serving meals
• Accompanying and supporting clients during appointments and outings
• Engaging in conversation and providing companionship
• Light housekeeping and organization tasks

Requirements

• Cell phone with internet access
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in caregiving or a similar role is preferred
• Certifications that are preferred but not required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion towards others
• Active Home Care Aide status (Unsure? We can show you how!)
• Proof of negative TB results
