Role Overview

As a valued Ho’okele caregiver, you will provide one-on-one care for multiple clients in one shift at the Kahala Nui House. We are hiring 2 caregivers with a CNA or NA. This may include meal prep, grooming, bathing, med reminders, light housekeeping, dressing, and restroom assistance. All client needs are task based with a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of 2 hours with each client. Our ideal candidate must be attentive to monitoring vital signs and compassionate for their work in satisfying the client’s care.

• Pays $20/hr ($19/hr during probationary period of first 90 days)
• 7am-7pm shift (12 hour shift)
• Available for weekends

Requirements

• MUST HAVE valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR proof of completion of a Nursing Assistant (NA) program

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First-Aid certification (no online certifications).
• Reliable transportation.
• Clear background checks and drug screening.
• Health Clearance / Physical Exam (within a year)
• Proof of 2-Step and current TB clearance (within a year)
• Must have a smartphone
• COVID-19 vaccine or have a medical/ religious exemption
