Join our compassionate team at WSC Home Care, formally known as Action Home Health Care. We are currently hiring for a position located in our client's home located in Brighton, MI. Embark on a fulfilling career journey that offers flexible shift options and the chance to make a profound impact and change lives! *Other positions also available in Howell, MI in our beautiful group homes and independent living program.
Available Shifts:
- Morning Glory: Mon-Thurs (7am-3pm) & Alt. Saturdays
- Sunset Helpers: Sun-Thurs (3pm-11pm) & Alt. Saturdays
- Midnight Heroes: Thursdays Overnight (11pm-7am)
Your Role:
As a dedicated caregiver, youll provide essential 1-on-1 support to an individual facing social, cognitive, emotional, and physical challenges. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Personal Care: Assist with daily routines ensuring dignity and safety.
- Support Services: Aid in nutrition, mobility, and housekeeping to enhance independence.
- Emergency Response: Swift action to ensure safety.
- Healthcare Assistance: Manage medications and health records.
- Administrative Support: Maintain documentation to ensure smooth operations.
- Additional Duties: Flexibility is key you'll assist with tasks as assigned, contributing to the smooth functioning of our programs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required we provide full training!
- Must have strong communication skills, physical capability for caregiving tasks, and a commitment to ethical, client-centered care.
- High school diploma/GED and reliable transportation are necessary.
Physical Demands:
Job duties include regular talking and hearing, occasional standing, walking, sitting, manual tasks, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling. Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs may be required. Specific vision abilities needed include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated on a case-by-case basis.
