General Information Job title: Carpenter Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm Weekend rotation: Weekend rotation required Holiday rotation: Holiday rotation required Position participates on a call rotation with the facility services team. Position Summary The Carpenter position performs interior and exterior carpentry to maintain the outer clinics and hospital to keep everything up and running. Position Responsibilities Perform interior and exterior carpentry to maintain buildings. Perform remodels as requested. Rekey locks, change doorknobs, and adjust doors. Replace or repair windows and flooring; hang and fix cabinets. Assemble desks and repair desks and file cabinets. Assess and repair roofs as needed. Perform all other duties as requested. Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of formal apprenticeship program or completion of in-company training program to satisfaction of maintenance supervision. 3+ years of related carpentry experience required. Must maintain a valid, current driver\'s license and be MBMC insurable. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Excellent carpentry skills required. Basic understanding of mechanical functions. Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions. Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication skills. Considerable attention required to prevent injury to self and others when working on ladders and scaffolds. #J-18808-Ljbffr
