About the Role

Great Basin Staffing needs two experienced Carpenters to push a ground-up fast-food build to the finish line. Heavy production hanging of plywood, drywall/gypsum board, and cement board (Durock) with fast, clean execution. Expect extended shifts and weekend work to hit turnover.

Key Responsibilities

• Hang and finish plywood, gypsum/drywall, and cement board (Durock) at production rates.

• Frame/back where needed (wood/metal stud), layout, blocking, fastening to spec.

• Cut/fit around MEP penetrations; install corner bead/control joints; maintain clean edges/tolerances.

• Read plans/specs; take direction from site lead; hit daily/weekly production goals.

• Maintain site safety/housekeeping; manage tools and material staging.

Requirements

• 3+ years commercial carpentry (restaurant/retail TI or ground-up preferred).

• Proven speed/quality hanging plywood, drywall/gypsum, and cement board.

• Read tape/laser; perform accurate layout.

• Own standard hand/power tools and PPE; reliable transportation.

• Comfortable on ladders, lifts, scaffolds; lift 60+ lbs; work in winter conditions.

• Professional, punctual, safety-minded; able to work extended shifts and weekends.

Schedule & Conditions

• Extended shifts from Fri 11/21 through Sun 11/30, including weekends (Nov 22–23 and Nov 29–30).

• Off only Thanksgiving Day (Thu 11/27).

• Indoor/outdoor work; winter exposure; coordinated inspections and deliveries.

Pay & Per Diem

• $28.00–$33.00/hr (W2, DOE) — weekly pay.

• $150/day per diem available for out-of-town workers.

• No airfare or travel reimbursement provided.
