Cash Application SpecialistThe Tyndale Company is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist. This position will be responsible for timely and accurate posting of payments against open receivables. Communicate short paid invoices or posting discrepancies and escalate to the appropriate party for resolution at the time of posting.HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 1 day per week, and 4 days per week remotely. We're the leading distributor of innovative FRC solutions, and the largest industrial supplier of Carhartt FR, Ariat FR, and Wrangler FR clothing.ResponsibilitiesDaily preparation and application of checks, ACH and credit card payments as well as an audit of the credit card charges;Communicate and work with invoice specialists on short payments, over payments and prepayments;Apply and post in unapplied cash accounts for prepayments;Scan and save all backup from cash application batches;Post miscellaneous transactions from cash application forms submitted by the department for unapplied cash and offsetting credits to invoices;Assist Department with special projects and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the AR Manager.QualificationsHS Diploma or equivalent required;A minimum of three years' experience with cash application preferred;Strong financial background required, that is: familiarity with basic accounting, debits and credits, account reconciliation: payments and credits to invoices and debits;Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy;Proficient in MS Office, and accounting software experience;Proficient verbal and written communication skills;Strong analytical competency;Action-orientation and a sense of urgency;Have the ability to learn new systems in a timely manner and adapt to changing processes and proceduresBenefitsHealth & Wellness : Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with competitive premiums.
