Responsibilities

  • Investigate and assess claims related to casualty and liability events.
  • Evaluate policy coverage, applicable laws, and adjust claims accordingly.
  • Communicate with claimants, policyholders, and legal entities to gather information.
  • Review and analyze medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and legal representatives in a fair manner.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all claims and communications.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies throughout the claims process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in insurance or claims adjustment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in casualty and liability claims adjusting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective interactions.
  • Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
