Payrate: $68/hourly
Schedule Notes :
1.Sun, Mon, Tue 7p-8a overnight including call.
2. Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm including call
3, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat 9p-7a including call
Job Summary:
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, ensures patient safety, and maintains operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities-
Supplies & Preparation:
Obtain necessary supplies, maintain instrument sterility, and prepare requisitions. -
Patient Care:
Communicate with patients and families, ensure privacy, verify patient ID, and monitor patient condition before/after contrast injections. -
Room & Equipment Maintenance:
Keep rooms stocked, maintain equipment, clean CT units after use, and notify of any expiring supplies or equipment issues. -
Safety & Emergency Response:
Assess patient contrast tolerance, screen for allergies, initiate emergency response if needed, and ensure proper post-procedure transport. -
Point Staff Duties:
Triage procedures, manage workflow, coordinate emergency/unscheduled procedures, and communicate patient status to relevant departments. -
Quality Control:
Maintain QA/QC standards, report equipment malfunctions, and ensure adherence to protocols for contrast administration and venipuncture. -
Imaging & Radiologist Communication:
Process and verify urgent images (e.g., Code Grey), notify the radiologist, and report any unusual findings.
Education :
Required Education:
-HS diploma/GED
-Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College based Radiography program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-ARRT RT (R)
-ARRT RT (CT)
-NJDEP New Jersey State X-Ray License.
-BLS Certification.
